About Me

Few things transform an individual's life as profoundly as enhancing their movement quality and physical abilities.

Currently, most of my work is dedicated to helping individuals of all ages achieve their health and fitness goals at Advance Training, a private fitness club in Prague, Czech Republic.

Additionally, I serve as a strength and conditioning coach for the youth national teams, a consultant on physical preparation and performance testing, and a lecturer for trainer education with the Czech Basketball Federation.

I hold a Ph.D. in sport science from Charles University with dissertation research focused on the relationship between rest interval duration, fatigue, and acute performance during plyometric (jump) training.

Recently, I joined two highly skilled professionals, Paul Bielak and Marcin Dochnal, in their educational project, Good Health Society. The goal of this project is to create a high-quality educational platform for the general population, aiming to improve health through lifestyle changes such as exercise, diet, sleep hygiene, and stress management.

Additionally, I am working on my personal project, Strength Scholar, a blog that aims to provide reader-friendly, evidence-based information on best practices and scientific advancements in health, physical activity, fitness, sport performance, and strength and conditioning for coaches, athletes, and recreational trainees.

My athletic journey has provided me with a plethora of valuable experiences. From early childhood, I trained as a competitive swimmer and later transitioned to elite youth basketball. Throughout university, I explored skateboarding and dipped my toe into gymnastics. I've continuously engaged in some form of strength training since my early teens, though I became serious and methodical about my strength development only in my late 20s. In 2024, I finally decided to step into competitive powerlifting, which now represents my primary focus and the bulk of my training time.
